Dr Tania Seligmann has over 20 years of experience working as an Optometrist in South Africa, England and Australia. She prides herself on her thorough and comprehensive testing, ranging from testing young children through to the elderly. She has extensive experience in preschool and primary school vision testing, as well as a special interest in behavioural optometry. She feels passionately about ensuring that visual problems should never be an obstacle to children’s ability to learn and achieve their full potential.
Her vision and future goals are to diagnose and treat visual problems in children which could lead to learning and psychological difficulties if not diagnosed and treated early. She is presently applying visual and developmental assessments for children and is interested in research and development in this area.
Tania also has a strong focus on age-related vision care, ranging from cataract, glaucoma and macular degeneration testing through to diabetic eye examinations.
As a professional optometrist, she considers it her responsibility and a privilege to ensure that all visual and ocular problems are correctly diagnosed and dealt with in a timely manner.
