Dr Saya Hiidome (Optometrist) graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Master of Clinical Optometry and a Bachelor of Vision Science. She is passionate about providing comprehensive and personalised eye care to all her patients.

Saya Hiidome has special interest in myopia management (including Orthokeratology), paediatric optometry, and management of ocular diseases. As a therapeutically endorsed optometrist, she is able to treat various anterior eye conditions and co-manage patients with ophthalmologists. 

During her studies, Saya Hiidome was awarded the Designs for Vision prize for “best overall performance throughout the Bachelor of Vision Science Master of Clinical Optometry program in Primary Care Optometry”. 

Saya Hiidome conducted research on improving diabetic retinopathy management in Western Sydney. She believes effective communication with patients and co-management with other health practitioners is integral for optimising clinical outcomes.
